Only Green’s consumer research centre at 270 King St. in Midland has a wide range of products for the home and office.

Each has been scrutinized according to Only Green’s product selection criteria to ensure it is truly green.

1. Materials/Ingredients: Are they organic, are chemicals used, do they comply with health regulations, how are they harvested, and are they a renewable resource?
2. Manufacturing: Are chemicals used during processing, does the manufacturer utilize fair labour practices, are the products tested on animals, and is it made with renewable energy?
3. Packaging: What materials are used, is the packaging minimal or excessive, and can it be reused, recycled or composted?
4. Delivery/Locations: Where do the materials originate, where is the product made, and is the product or component parts assembled in one location or multiple locations?
5. Use of Product: What makes the product eco-friendly? Is it consumable, reusable or disposable?
6. Disposal: Is it reusable, recyclable, biodegradable or compostable? What impact does disposal have on the environment?
