The Orillia Business Association has announced the nominees for the 2008 Bill Swinimer Business Leader of the Year Award.
They are: Dean Beers, of the Carpet Warehouse; Mike Davenport, of Davenport Subaru; Josephine Manna, of Royal LePage Real Quest Realty; Al and Jan Middleton, of Al and Jan’s Oldies Diner; and Gord Stewart, of Master Lube Rust Check.
Now in its eighth year, the award is given to an individual whose proven contributions to growth and prosperity have impacted positively on the community.
The winner will be announced at the association's upcoming dinner meeting, taking place on Nov. 18 at Bayview Wildwood Resort.
