Front Line Collingwood Foundation accepted a cheque for $1,540.35 from Beach Builders Home Hardware Building Centre recently - $1,045 was raised at a Backyard Party event in May that featured an appearance by The Cooking Ladies.
The other $500 was donated by the store's owners. Front Line Collingwood Foundation assists breast cancer patients in the area, including Wasaga Beach, who require financial assistance. It is known for its Titz 'n Glitz fundraising event.
This year's event was held on Oct. 18.
